He has lettered in football the past four years at Jenks, holds a 4.0 GPA and tapped by more than one among the state’s best high school players.
Chase Beeler had lots of options for life after Jenks football. He chose OU.
Beeler and four other Trojans signed letters of intent during National Signing Day last week.

After the signing, he told media he picked OU over such schools as Stanford, because he likes the idea of stating in the state and around family.

Family and University of Oklahoma officials are fine with the decision as are local Trojan fans who like the idea they can see a hometown boy shine at OU.
Keeping one of the best offensive linemen in Oklahoma high school football as well as a National Merit finalist on home turf is seen as a double victory.
Beeler told media reps at the signing that he chose Oklahoma because he can remain close to his Jenks area family and friends.

Beeler said all of that is part of his support system as he heads of to college football and an education.

Beeler also was courted by Northwestern and Oklahoma State.

Isaac Norman, Brandon McClaurin and Sam Sebo signed letters to play football next season at Missouri Southern University, while Jeff Jackson signed to play for Princeton University.
