Many Thanks to everyone who have made this site possible. I am sure this will become home to many former Coaches Aid users. I have noticed that the forum in Coaches Aid is slow, I still go in and read what few post there are. For those interested there are Weight Meets scheduled at NewCastle this Thursday Feb. 9th (Jr. High) and Friday Feb. 10th (High School). Again Thanks for the efforts you guys have put forth to keep High School sports in the lime light it so deserves.

Welcome To All,

We have the ability to shut down the "high school runts" with this new Forum as needed. Currently, we are feeling out some new avenues with some media outlets in north central Oklahoma. Eventually, we plan to expand as time permits. We appreciate you checking out the "NEW" OK Sports Corral. We hope you enjoy what we will be covering throughout the years.

Hi everyone, for those that may be interested and remember, I was formerly known as K_Cougar on that "other" site. I was excited when I caught wind that this new forum was in the works! It is very obvious that much hard work and much thought has gone into setting this forum up. Just wanted to say a word of thanks to all those that have brought this forum to the players, coaches, parents and fans of Oklahoma HS Sports!!!!

I like the site! When football season arrives, I believe you will be pleased with numerous new members. Good job with this new site. I just found out about it a couple of weeks ago. . . .

You guys have a nice site, but there don't seem to be a lot of people chiming in. Lot of people looking, but not many posting. I joined Coaches Aid and it seems to have a lot of people posting. It seems easier to negotiate, too. Maybe I'll get the hang of this one later, I guess I'm just used to Coaches Aid.

A new forum will take time to get "comfortable" to post...sometimes I notice specifics are being asked and there are no answers, they just die.

This forum software purchased allows us to keep the "trash talk" down...when the high school kids make their way here.

We will be doing some thread cleaning before the football season begins.

Hey we finally go a new member it's been about three months since the last one. Welcome to the board pipa_medq tell everyone you know about this site and post often, this board needs the traffic. I know with football season right around the corner it'll pick up again.

The reason we had no new members for a while is because we set the admin controls not to allow new registers due to so many hackers/spammers/spybots trying to get on here. We basically shut down new registrations for the last few months as an experiment. Now, that its getting close to football season we reopened registration here and, wouldn't you know it, within just a few hours of having done so, we get our first new member... a spammer. We can usually tell when going into the admin panel because they are all from overseas.

Hopefully, we'll get some legitimate members in the mix.

If I didn't delete the multitude of spammers that join each day, we'd be at 10,000 members. :spin:

Yeah, we just hit the 1K mark. Some of those members are the same person. Some people re-register here each year under a different name and I know a few that have alter egos. So, we don't have 1,000 "different" people comprising our total number of members.

That said, we are officially at 1,000 members according to the forum software. :clap:

1K is OK for OKSC! Dang, I've got to get up at 4:00 to head to Dallas! Big game there in the morning. I've got a Beast nephew waiting for his uncle to jump up and down on the sidelines :D . Fourth grade Texas football. . . .I hope he's a future Sooner!
