Area I
# of Ranked Teams: 5
Ranked Team Average: 12.6
My State Picks: Sulphur, Millwood
Area Breakdown: I REALLY wish I could be a homer here and pick my Lady Warrior. But, I think they are about a year or two out from getting back in the State tourney regularly. I am going with a minor upset in the Area finals by picking Sulphur to win (in the last 30 seconds) over Millwood. Then Millwood beats my Washington Lady Warriors with too much pressure to take that second spot.
Area II
# of Ranked Teams: 4
Ranked Team Average: 8.75
My State Picks: Prague, Chandler
Area Breakdown: This area would be a ton more exciting if Henryetta wasn't down a few players to injury. I don't think Prague or Chandler will have much trouble. I think Prague averages 10+ point winning margins.
Area III
# of Ranked Teams: 5
Ranked Team Average: 9.2
My State Picks: Adair, Morris
Area Breakdown: I think Verdigris could sneak in ahead of Adair. I think Morris wins the elimination game regardless. This is a stacked area. Should be some fun watching ball in this one.
Area IV

Ranked Team Average: 11
My State Picks: Kansas, S-T
Area Breakdown: Call me a doubter by not thinking Salina will get there. I've heard they are impressive. I know Kansas is. It looks like S-T is getting hot as of late. We'll see... That should be a great area finals elim game, if it happens. Eufaula could spoil the party...
