Free agent defensive back R.W. McQuarters signed a three-year $6 million deal with the Giants on Monday, ESPN reported.

McQuarters has 12 career interceptions in eight seasons with the 49ers, Bears, and Lions. He started all 16 games at cornerback for the Lions last season, but is probably better known as an impact punt returner.
