Prayers for some Dragons!!!

In Friday's game, Freshman QB Cole Swayze broke his femur (just above the knee). It was snapped when he got hit high (shoulder pads) with his left leg planted to cut. He had surgery Friday night about midnight. He was able to go home this evening (Sunday night).

I also heard that another Purcell Dragon got hit and had some type of break in his back or neck.

If I find out the other boy's name I'll post it...

WOW! Gord that is terrible to hear that kind of news! Was it just freak accident or something go wrong? Glad to hear this young man is at home recovering from this type of injury! Have you heard if there will be any side affects from this injury? I know I have prayers sent to this team and these young gentlemen from my Chruch!

That's just horrible for both young men. You are in my prayers. Thats not good for the Dragons team either. Cole Swayze is a standout freshman. His stats have been tremendous for a freshmen. I happen to know the young man and his family.
