I was wondering if anyone has watched Stroud much this year and what kind of team they have?

Stroud is TOUGH! They took down a well coach, talent laden, Perkins squad a few weeks ago. Those Lady Demons were sporting an undefeated record and ranked #3 (i believe) at the time.
Only know one of the girls: Sabrina Goddard (spelling?). She's their post player and stands about 6' 2". She's a senior this year and is playing very well inside. Great kid with great parents!
They beat a solid Afton squad Saturday night. Afton has two good post players and is well coached. I believe Stroud lead most of the contest and kept the Lady Eagles at bay during their contest.
Stroud seams to be peaking and wanting to take teams OUT! I believe their team chemistry is solid and they share the scoring between all the players. That's so tough to defend!
Stroud will want to drop Pawnee down into the loser’s bracket on Friday. They don't want the possibility of having to face Afton again. Look for Lady Tigers to play LIGHTS OUT in the Area Championship.

Stroud is peaking elk, the Tigers have not lost since dropping back-to-back games in the county tourny. The Jones twins are probably the best athletes and they get after it. Everyone handles the ball well too.
Stroud has been working a long time for this chance, they won't be an easy out.

Rock, do you see many Stroud girls games? What's your take on their recent run? Where have they made improvements that have impressed you, as a fan?

Who are the best teams they have played this year and what were the scores?

Elk, I know next to nothing about the fundamentals of basketball. I do know that these girls are tough and seem to be very sound. They can all handle the ball well including the post players. The team does not make bad mistakes or turnovers and they hit their free-throws.
The team really got refocused after the county tournament. Stroud lost to Seminole in the semi's then Holdenville in the consolation finals. Stroud's other loses were to Perkins, Preston, and Depew.
They avenged their loses to Perkins and Depew, beat a pretty good New Lima team at the Preston tourny and swept Prague, which is a big deal around here.
Wish I could tell you more.

77, Preston beat Stroud 52-42 in the semi's of the Preston tournament. I think it was a 6pt game going into the 4th. Stroud felt pretty good about themselves after that game and felt like they had a chance to make some noise.

Preston's best player was injured like 2 minutes into the game. Cornwell would have made a big difference. I'm thinking with her defense & scoring threat it would have been about a 30 point difference.

Stroud will not have to face Afton after Qawpaw eliminated the Lady Eagles last night in Area III loser’s bracket in Bixby.
