Gerald Jones cited for misdemeanor marijuana possesion along with Ahmad Paige and Jameel Owens was in the back seat. He was on a visit. Jameel was not charged for anything.

What gives? What kind of players are milwood making their kids out to be? Ive always heard that gerald was a good kid. Didnt do anything wrong but I was totally wrong.

Gerald was a good kid while we had him, he was never caught violating any rules. Now I think there may be a little more to this story, but I am not gonna speculate. He evidently made a bad decisision and will have to pay the price for it. Doesn't automatically make him a bad kid in my opinion, how he responds will deterimine that for me.

But go ahead and let the hate begin, cause it is a Millwood kid I am sure we will get to hear about how wrong the coaches here are, and how he is such a terrible person.

Fact is people make mistakes in thier life, hopefully the learn from them and move on to become better people in the long run. If you disagree with that then IMO you are hypocrite.

I agree with you Falcon Lbs kids make mistakes alot in life espically 18-19 year old college kids. I with you sure hope he learned his lesson and moves on with his life. I sure did enjoy watching him this season.

I don't make it my business to drag names through dirt Falcon...I'm sure it's upsetting enough without it. Best of luck to him.

Let the first man who hasn't broken the law in some way or fashion throw the first stone. Gerald is a 19 year old kid who might be hanging with the wrong players.

I bet that Fulmer will suspend him a game or two next fall but you can bet all eyes will be on Gerald not only on the field but off the field as well.

I hope Grald learns from this mistake and if need be, get some counseling so this doesn't fester into a lifelong addiction.

Yeah i know what your saying. Im not hating bc i was just saying I didnt know if he had problems like this at milwood or not. Im not from around there. I just know He was and is a stud in football and was a stud in basketball. Yeah he's in college and peer pressure can ruin you man. if that was the case.

Being 19 doesn't make one a man. The makng of a man is realizing your mistakes and learning from them. The jury is still out on GJ, we'll see where he goes from here in the immediate future with his life and life's choices.

Heard some of GJ punishments by Coach Fulmer: Riding with Police Officers on weekends, going to counseling, talking with youth about drugs and many, many, many conditioning drills. Plus, may hrs of community service. That does't count what the judge will lay on top of that.

He'll learn or he'll be sent packing.

Park where did you see the punishment stuff at. I haven't heard, I don't talk to him as much as some other coaches. Sounds like good stuff for him to do. I hope he has learned form it. He is without a doubt the most gifted player I have been around and I don't know if I will get to see another that talented. He is a pretty smart kid so I am confident he will get it figured out.

BBJ on the Sports Animal told me. Seems that Fulmer was pretty pissed. I know Gerald is a good athlete, but I think Joe Carter and Fred Carter were just as athletic. I wish I could remember some of the other names of the Millwood boys I played against from 1978-1981 as Millwood had some pretty darn good athletic kids in those years.

Oh I am not saying there haven't been some good ones or better ones I know you have Mandrell Dean, all 3 woods, Joe Carter and the likes. I am just saying the best I have coached or been around personally. The best I thought I ever would see was Stephen Alexander at Chick when I played, but GJ was so much more special.

However if you ask me if I could only have one of them back from that team in 2006 it would be T. Swindall. Talk about a complete and smart football player.

We will have some good ones comming up. Have LB's that is only gonna be a junior and he has the potential to be great.

falcolns lbs. is milwood gonna be pretty good this year? I think they should be pretty good.

Well we don't lose much at all, the QB won't be a freshman and has a year of exp. so we have the potential to be pretty good. We need to get stronger up front over the off-season. We do have some good ones though, so I expect us to make a run at it. However, I expected us to make a run at this year and it didn't even come close to happening. Also, we need to improve our leadership and I think that that is taking place already with some of our kids.

yeah i knew your qb returns. I think he's gonna be a stud his jr-sr year. Yeah milwood didnt do so hot this year. Yeah leadership always helps! lol... Will yall have any D-1 players next year?

We will have a couple running backs that if they dedicate themselves could possibly hit a mid-major school, acctually one could be big time if he wanted to. Have a reciver that my have a mid-major shot. Got a lineman that is GJ uncle, he is really good, but short (so maybe I-AA or II).

Now the Linebacker I have will be a junior and if he pulls his head out of his tail he will be able to name his college.

Milwood usually has good runners. What is the qb's name if you dont mind me asking.. Lb's i remember last year milwood had a really good lb. I dont remember what number but he was Mlb.. bout 6'2?

Kevonte Richardson is the qb he is about 6'1'' or 6'2'' was a 14 year old freshman last year. Our Mike backer is the one I am talking about #44 Trayvon Henry about 6'2'' 205 right now, will be a junior he is prob. a 4.6 guy in the 40 and great kid, very coachable. I have to work with him to play with a lower pad level, if he can do that he could be deadly.
