Jenks and Union will be in opposite sides of the bracket and will meet in the finals. They should be in Class 7A and let the rest of the teams fight it out for the 6A title.

Those "super schools" should compete regionally if not nationally. They are so flush with cash they could afford the travel and they would actually get some competition. Possibly some humility too.

I say the state ought to break 'em up. Once you get over 3000 students in the top 4 grades, you need to branch out into another school, like they've done at Edmond, Putnam City, Norman, Lawton, etc.
It's just not fair for Jenks and Union to have almost 4000 students and continue to beat up on everyone else which is still in the 2000s, except for Broken Arrow, which has 4000 and still can't figure how to beat Jenks or Union.

its not just numbers, its the programs. these two schools have great programs, and tradition... kids grow up in the system. other schools are competitive, they just cant seem to get over the hump. Union wins state over Jenks... 35-31

Union wins state over Jenks... 35-31TRUE! At any level, in any classification it's the program, the organization, the support.
