2A has a weird weekend... and now, for the 2nd week in a row, we have top 5 and 25 teams taking it on the chin!!!

USC loses to stinking Stanford!!!!??!??!?! I don't want to hear any USC fan or anyone else put them above a 1 loss OU or Florida. That's terrible. I honestly think that Appal. State (beat Michigan) is a better team than Stanford. They at least have more Pro prospects.

Wisconsin gets beat by an up-and-coming Illinois. Kentucky gets beat. Georgia gets spanked. Texas loses. Clemson loses. Kansas State loses. Rutgers loses.

That's 9 top 25 teams that have lost, not counting loser of LSU vs. Florida and Nebraska vs. Missouri. So, there will be 11 top 25 teams lose, and maybe one more top 5...

JUST CRAZY!!!

Well... LSU comeback. Great game! Not a big Les Miles fan, but how could you not want to play your best for a guy that believes in you (or is stupid enough!) so much that he'd put his National Title hopes on the line twice in one last drive. FG ties... just amazing going for it like that. Could you imagine the headlines and people in Baton Rouge had he gone for it and not got it!?!?!?!

Looks like Nebraska is getting their butts handed to them by Missouri. So, we have 11 of the top 25 losing, 4 of those in the top 10, and 2 of those in the top 5.

Time to watch Matt Holliday win the game for the Rockies!!!

Les Miles is the luckiest coach I have ever seen. That was a great game, but I think losing by more that 4 points would have felt better lol. So close, yet so far. Horrible week of football for me. If Dallas loses against the Bills, I'm gonna go nuts.

The Jayhawks are 5-0.

Tell me the stars are not in a weird alignment. . . .

This is what happens when you limit the amount of scholarships a program can have. Teams can no longer stockpile huge amounts of talent. Thier are alot more athletes these days and more schools are getting them. With the talent more distrubuted then it used to be schools that aren't powers can now put a handful of good athletes on the field. When each team can put talent and speed on the field upsets will happen espicialy now that the spread offense is so widely used. If you have speed and you spread the field you can score points. Thats how Appalachian State pulled one of the biggest upsets in the history of college football.
