Are there any 5A fans in this forum?

I have noticed that most people in this forum post under the A-2A football sections. I, too, find myself posting there. I was wondering if there are any fans of higher classification football in here? Does anyone know anything about 5A football? Who are the teams to watch and why?

I know my favorite 5A team plays Bishop Kelley tonight. Should be an easy game for the Cardinals. They (East Central) should breeze through their district and not face a challenge until they reach the third round of the State Playoffs. Their weak district could prove to be a curse though, as they will surely meet up with some difficult opponents come playoff time.

I know there's some 4A fans around... haven't seen too many 5A. Of course, I'm pretty sure everyone is just playing for 2nd behind Carl Albert! :)

Coach, did East Central change their mascot? I remember playing them in the 70's but don't remember the Cardinal moniker?

Seems like I remember East Central having a different mascot, too, but I can't remember what it would be. I did a search and the only thing I found was that in 1945 their yearbook was The Cardinal, so they may have always been the Cardinals. Not sure, now.

East Central is the Cardinals. I know CENTRAL in Tulsa is the Braves.
