Sorry but I have to say this. Woodland has the worst wrestling team I have ever seen. Tonkawas 145 pounder could easily beat both of them. Sorry but it had to be said. P.S. We have a freshman 160 pounder that could throtte both of them. So could tonks 215 pounder.

Trujillo (215) may be able to beat Hillsberg. But, Hillsberg will "probably" certify @ 189.
Who do you have @ 89? Maybe I've seen him.
Woodland is not known for a powerhouse wrestling team. However, Hillsberg has improved every year and I believe he will wrestle well this year.
If Dilbeck wrestles (which would be his first time to ever wrestle), he would probably have to wrestle up @ 215. That would be tough for Logan.
Tonkawa's Brent Trujillo is a good wrestler - state material, don't know just yet. I believe he's a junior - right?
So as far as throttling Hillsberg - that just won't happen. Dilbeck is very strong but inexperienced on the mat. He could knock the crap out of someone with a cross-face but, will struggle with mat experience.

We didn't have a 189 ponder last year, but we will probably have Edwin Gallardo a freshman there this year. I dought he can beat Hillsburg. The freshman I was talking about is the man child Jake Love. Trujillo is a senior this year. He placed 3rd at state last year as a heavyweight but is planning on wrestling at 215. He was a state qulifier at 215 two years ago as a sophmore. He also benches about 340lbs so I'm sure he's as strong as Dilbek. If he's not let me know.

Josh Hillsberg has qualified for state two years running. And Dilbeck has a natural verocity that will probally take him far if he does wrestle. I'v heard different stories about him and basketball.
Ive seen hillsberg wrestle once this year and he was in terrible shape but will present a good showing later in the year as for dilbeck this is his first year to wrestle however he will be ok if he learns some moves. It is true woodlands team may not be the best however they do have stand out individuals. I feel these individuals will do well this year after they get better conditioned because they went so far in football.

Dilbeck is not wrestling. Hillsberg is doing fine. Getting into wrestling shape. It will take a few more weeks until he has his wind.
If he's smart, he will go slow and peak around regionals.

That has absolutely nothing to do with wrestling. You can be a beast in the weight room and get your butt kicked on the mat against a good wrestler.
Two years ago, Pawnee’s 189 lb was the state champion (Eli Martinez). I could press 100 lbs more, on the bench, than Eli - and I'm 45 years old. However, Elijah would throttle my rear on a wrestling mat. As a matter of fact, Eli could throttle just about anyone he wanted to.
The strength, on the bench, has nothing to do with wrestling. Technique - it's in the hips.
No disrespect to Trujillo or the Bucs. . .

You were the one saying how strong Dilbeck is. I was just saying how strong Trujillo is.
