College Bowl Pick 'Em

Yes, I know it's in the pretty distant future, but I'd like to know if anyone is interested in playing bowl pick 'em this year. I think we had around 7 people play last year and it was pretty cool. So, if you're interested, just reply and we'll try to get something setup by the time bowl season comes around.

See, here's the thing, even if you WERE correct on that assumption, we STILL get to say we held the basketball and football championship trophies at the same time. Nobody else can, including OU. We'd also probably get to say that the reason we're not in the national championship game is that we had one loss to the evenutal champ: the LSU Tigers...who are also in the SEC. We ALSO get to say that we're building our program even better for next year because of all our '07 recruits and commitments already from players like Will Hill and Major Wright. But, I'll give you some credit, you didn't say anything about USC....and I share your opinion on that.

I have a Florida logo that stretches across the entire rear window also ;).

I have an upside down OU sticker because of some friends I had in high school. I put it on there during my junior year just to tick them off and never took it off. And yes, the Longhorns are my #2 favorite, because I'm actually from Texas and lived there until I was 12. If you're wondering why I'm a Florida fan, it's because I was raised that way from birth and stuck with it. Half of my family is in Florida also. I'm not a bandwagon jumper, I was a Gator before they had their first football championship.

Tebow has had a great season thus far... Still a long year to go. There are several that have to be up there.

If you were handing it out today, not looking to the future, it'd probably go something like this:

1. Tebow
2 - 4. Any combo of White (WV), Bradford (OU), and Woodson (Kent.)
5. Slaton ?

I don't think Tebow or Bradford continue their current pace. Kentucky's schedule is about to get super hard.

That leaves the door pretty open for Pat White to move into the conversation.

Should be interesting. May come down to who stumbles first in the Loss column.

Fact: No SEC team has EVER lost a BCS Title game. It is the only conference undefeated in BCS title play.

The BCS is a joke. Its basis is a bunch of prejudiced sports writers and coaches. :rolleyes: If there ever was a perfect example of why we need an 8 team playoff this year is it.
