I'm a Sooners fan :) . Definition: Sooner fans root for Oklahoma State anytime they're not playing OU.

OSU Cowboy fans? Definition: Hates anything from Norman  ! Wants OU to lose every game, all the time. Would sacrifice their first born for a victory over OU during the season. . . .on and on. . .

Hey, from time to time, I have to put on "Orange" to keep the peace in the household. Ok - it's not so bad. Especially during basketball season (Yes, I'm a Sutton fan). But after watching Troy embarrass OSU on TV last night, I'm tempted to cancel my monthly OSU POP payments to the Bursar office. . . . yes, I hang my head in shame :o , I have children who enjoy this type of punishment during football season.

OSU Fans - It's time to get upset  ! It "seams like" Coach Gumby cares more about his hair gel & Oakley shades  than winning football games. I believe OSU has talent to win. There are some great athletes on their sidelines. Why in the world can't you beat Troy!!

Didn't see the first half, but in the second half, Troy's secondary was punishing the OSU receivers!! Robinson never looks off of his primary receiver. They were just setting back there delivering wicked :horror: hits on the OSU receivers!

If I'm going to have to set inside Pickens Stadium (out of paternal love), I want to see Cowboy success! My "Orange" apparel is starting to catch up with the Crimson Red - it's depressing!!

You know who's coming to town next week?!? Texas Tech!!!

The Troy defense has left the field and OSU just fumbled the ball again!!

Can someone tell OSU that the "weather delay" is over and they need to come to the field to play.

Who was that team that played "TROY" last night I hope that OSU team shows up for BEDLAM. OU wil beat them like McGuinness did Millwood!!

Oklahoma State! The Sooners look impressive. They are letting Bradford stretch it out down field a little more.

The more experience this kid gets, the better he will shine during the later part of the season. Their O line looks so much better.

I would love to see OU play LSU for the BCS title! Gundy will be watching from Mid West city. . . .

Get the women and children off the streets. It's gonna get messy against Tech. The Pokes will get splattered.

Wow three of the last four years the Cowboys choke it away against Texas in the second half. Well I thinks its time to come after Gundy he's a man he's 40 he can take it. Good investment Boone I bet your real happy now that oil is 90 dollars a barrel. What a jerk.

this is les miles weak defense he recruited... gundy is steadily improving the 'boys... give him a few more years. im not an osu fan, but im sick of seeing, year in and year out, the pokes be well below average. not since the days of tatum bell has osu been fun to watch. the cowboys will get embarrased by ou this year...

Hold on. . .I disagree somewhat. True, this defense is now performing up to its potential. But, I don't like the Cowboys playing "safe defense". That's not Miles recruiting - it's Beckman’s signal calling.

You have to attack on defense. The Cowboys are so typical of playing safe on D. When you are not willing to force your opponent to change their game plan, you are playing safe.

OSU will not attack the QB like other defenses. I promise you, Beckman has the athletes to attack from the outside/weak side on passing downs. They have adequate speed in the secondary to play zone & match up on a blitzing stunt. He is not willing (or not allowed) to pressure opposing QBs.

Feel free to argue this point, but you don’t allow A&M or Texas to recover from a 17 & 21 point deficit to beat you!! That is totally unacceptable from a defensive stance. You have to attack in those situations and not play "safe".

When an offense is down that much, they will start to gamble and get out of their original game plan (unless is TTech - they always play four downs). Put pressure on that QB!!

That's not Miles or Gundy - it's Beckman!!

Crap - I'm starting to sound like an OSU fan . . . :o

well pick your poison, but its no time to start talking about letting go of gundy. the kids seem to like coach gundy, and the teams are steadily improving. but still are nowhere close to the level OU, or any other bigtime school is on.

Good point - the boys respond to Gundy. The TT post game rant actually caused me to start liking Mike Gundy. However Okatah, you gotta start producing or you need a major "house cleaning".

How many stellar D1 athletes are looking to move to small-town Stillwater on the prairie? You have to start winning & producing. Players should want to come to Stillwater to compete for a national championship, not just a Big 12 title or "Hey let's just beat OU" mentality. . .

Unless a kid is Oklahoma born, breed & raised; top D1 players will choose OU every time. Classic example, USC. Most of their freshman and sophomores could start on most D1 programs. These types of players want to compete at the highest level.

OSU has some very good talent - good enough to win. But, they need to be the aggressor and attack when they have the opportunity to win. Otherwise, they will always play second fiddle to the Sooners.

OSU is alot like Texas Tech. All "O" and no "D".

When you put all your '4 Star" players on the offensive side of the ball you can rack up the points.

BUT

When your defense is made up of "3 Star" athletes, your gonna give up some points.

Result: 6-6, 5-7 seasons. Independence Bowl, Insight.com Bowl, Toilet Bowl

About that Texas Tech rant, Gundy not a year before on the sports animal thru Mike Hamilton (who by the way was the 2nd leading rusher in the Big XII behind Peterson) under the bus calling him weak and not tough that got picked up as a sound bite and played for months. So take that rant for what it was, an attempt to please the "AD" Boone Pickens.
