I saw where Hominy rolled Cleveland. Do any of the Hominy fans have a recap of the game. Is Cleveland really down, did Hominy play extremely well, olr is it a combination of the two? What will Hominy fans predict will be their overall record at the end of the regular season, include district wins/loses. Let the Scotty Harmon era begin.

Hominy was able to capitalize on two turnovers in the first half. A blocked punt resulted in the first Hominy score.
Cleveland had some success moving the ball up the middle, but their drives would stall before reaching the red-zone. Cleveland was able to score on a 30 (?) yard rush in the first half. There could have been some "holding" disputed on that particular play but, the officials made no call. Cleveland has some speed but they looked somewhat out of sync.
Hominy did a good job on their offensive play selections. It seamed to keep the Tiger defense off balance during the second half. Senior Scott Carroll (#25) scored in the third quarter on a 40 yard run. Hominy’s #40 scored on a 25 yard rush in the fourth (I believe). The player was injured on the play and did not return. I don’t know his condition.
Both teams looked better in the second half. Opening season nerves plays a big part in these early games. Hominy looked good for their opener. Cleveland can play some football - they just need to execute better.
