Ya gotta have several teams from District 4A-1. McGuinness & Weatherford on that list. I would add Elk City to the list but they can't beat a private school if their life depended on it. (basktball punn)

Thanks for the vote of confidence but the Tigers have a long way to go. It will be tough without question, however, most things will have to go through Bishop and Weatherford. Elk has extremely tough kids, and Piedmont has a great tradition of winning. All of the city schools have talent, and new coaches that will try to put the talent they have to good use. I'm just worried about winning a district game. Darko will always have kids that can physically play. Having been in this district before, I understand that each and every game is no cake walk. I am however concerned about the re districting that will take place in July for next year. The last time I was here we had a brutal district even for the pretty good teams. All in all, I would expect some teams to be ranked, at least 3, not counting us, in the top ten.

Hilldale is terrible. They shouldn't even play football there. They should drop football and take up basket making.

BM should be the preseason favorite until they are knocked off. You're number one until you lose.

Good call Coach. The Irish will be tested early playing at Kingfisher. The whole town will show up for this one as this will be a huge vent for the town's recovery. Here's wishing K-fisher a quick recovery but the night could be shortlived if the Irish start rollig.

ok coach, hilldales been to the playoffs four straight years, and they got the new move in from wagoner, zach cox, the offense should be pretty good. question marks on defense, but i'll go ahead and predict another playoff run

I hope that you noted the sarcasim as I typed. I know Hilldale will be decent, however I think BM is (and probably will be) #1 until they are knocked off.

Cox was a strong fullback for us at Wagoner. If we could have only got him to get those fumbles down from 1 out of 3 carries, might have gotten to use some of the yards he gained. I will give credit where credit is due. Cox is a good runner. BUT, his younger, faster, harder running replacement is a GREAT fullback. And he is willing to block. Cox would have struggled for playing time against him.
