First Polebenders Tourney Is February 18th

The schedule has been announced for the 2006 Polebenders Catfish Tournaments, with the first event coming up on February 18th.

All four tournaments will launch from Sallisaw Landing with additional dates set for March 11, April 15 and May 20. All tournaments will start at 7:00AM and end at 3:00PM. Weigh-in will be held at the ramp after the tournament. Entrants are advised to come early to have plenty of time to sign up, or else pre-enter at the Village. Entry fee is $50 per team with an optional $10 for the big fish contest. There will be 100 percent pay-back on all tournaments.

Anglers who place first or second in any of the four Polebenders' tournaments will qualify for a chance to fish for $100,000 in September at the ACATS Classic held on Sardis Lake.

Catfish Tournament Moved To Saturday

The first Polebenders catfish tournament of the season has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25.

The event was originally set for last weekend, but was cancelled because of the weather.

It will be the first of four tournaments hosted by the Polebenders in 2006. All the tournaments will launch from Sallisaw Landing with additional dates set for March 11, April 15 and May 20. All tournaments will start at 7 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.. Weigh-in will be held at the ramp after the tournament.
