Robyn Brewster felt comfortable at University of Central Oklahoma and that’s why the Muskogee High School forward signed a national letter of intent to play soccer Thursday for the two-time defending Lone Star Conference champions.
“I went for visit and everything just seemed right,” Brewster said. “I liked the girls and the coach (Mike Cook). It feels like the right place to go.”
Brewster led the Rougherettes in scoring last season with eight goals and 19 points. She also had three assists. Brewster is expected to play forward for the defending LSC champions.
“It’s just a matter of her getting used to the speed at the next level,” MHS coach Chris Jenkins said. “She has a passion for the game and that’s why I would sign her. Robyn’s a good player.”
