Who are some sports heroes of all the towns posted on here. I can think of one from where I attended middle school. Hugo had a great football player in the 70's named John Higginbotham. Cant remember Antlers or Atoka. Durant had a good RB in the mid 90's. What about some local QB's you guys get on here and post some hometown greats.

Washington had Kilmer back in '96 set the state TD record that Vfastv Locust from Vian broke.
Tanner Roberson from Washington carried quite a bit of state recognition. He and Chase Roten were all-state in both football and baseball.
Last one from Washington... Jace Brewer. Playing AAA baseball now. Was with Redhawks last year. Free agent at the moment. Played college ball down in Baylor and drafted in 3rd round, I believe. Great guy. Is at almost all Washington sporting events.

I'm from Oktaha, maybe 2A's biggest all around power on the east side. We've seen lots of solid athletes come through, not many great ones, but a lot of solid talent.
Eric Pippin-signed d1 letter at kansas for baseball
Jay Elam- (basketball) is now playing small college ball in missouri
and my hero as a kid...Brandon Childs, guy could jump out of the gym! shook the floor on one dunk at the Bedoiun Shrine Classic against Gore one year, amazing.
