It's the typical Sequoyah County thing - Sallisaw "thinks" they're the biggest and best dog in the pound. Their holier-than-thou attitude comes across loud and strong. But this guy is probably just trying to provoke some talk by bashing Vian. It's a cheap shot from a black diamond but sadly it's the norm.

How could anyone from Sequoyah County not be proud as peacocks about Vian? The diamond dude is doing what they seem to do best, running their mouths (with pretty poor grammer as well). I attended that school for 12 years, however, my kids did not attend that school even 1 day, and attitudes such as his are part of the reasons why. I have watched these Vian boys for many years, my son has played with them and against them through the years, and I hope they can go all the way. They DO deserve to win and I am quite proud of them. Good luck tonight Vian.
It doesn't matter what school we all support, the kids are out there doing what they like to do on Friday Nights. Some for their own recreation or hobby, some trying to better themselves, some trying to get a beak in life, some for the compitition, and just about ALL trying to make their parents proud. SO to me that is what it is all about.
I know as a parent, it's really hard sometimes to hold back putting the other teams down. Even though we get carried away sometimes and think WE represent all...remember it's the kids games, and it is their lives. What I wouldn't give to be able to turn back the clock just to watch my kid play highschool ball again. But I can't do that...and guess what...he is still living his life, but it's away from home. So it might just be a lasting impression to them in how we all act. We might want to make a change in that impression before they are gone from home.

Hey Monkey...I'll just bet that Diamond Danny Boy must have been, probably the most respected member of the Sallisaw Golf Team back in the day. He evedently doesn't pay much attention to the team when he's @ a Vian game. The Vian Gridiron doesn't have any par 4's on it, just alot of A class athletes and coaches. You don't have to fix your divets or find you balls, unless you've been met by 33. Anybody who is anybody was @ the game tonite, unless you were from Sallisaw and I just imagine Diamond D was probably over @ Sallisaw coaches house cooking bratwurst and watching the marathon of rerun Friends episodes, or going over the way the basketball team was shaping up, or reliving the glory days of the golf team. They should put those dvd's of the less than stellar season w/ the highlight dvd in the Kids Meal boxes @ one of the fast food joints in town. Anyway, I got your back Wolverines! And as Diamond Dan say's, FOUR!

OMG!!! I'm reminded of a story one of my buddies told me tonight. A guy with a Sallisaw letter jacket on walked down from the stands. He leans over and says, "Hey, you see that guy right there?" I say, "Yeah, so what?" He says, "That's the kid in Vo-Tech i was telling you about that crapped his pants." I know, it's kind of sad to do so, but really funny too. Plus, I recognized him from the gym. (Yes, my fat butt used to go to the gym a lot.)
